Formed in Niterói - RJ, 1995. Niterói, 1995. Four skaters friends form a band to play hc and punk rock and baptized with the name of the skate video "Ban This", of Powell Peralta, a version aportuguesada. The concerts Bendis took place in the city, in the lake region in São Gonçalo and the other side of Guanabara Bay. Over the years the sound has changed to the so-called skapunk, with references to Operation Ivy Sublime. The group recorded two demos, two EPs and participated in several compilations. The mass of sound Bendis crossed borders and the band played several times in São Paulo (capital, interior, and ABC), also staking its flag in Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Goiania - one of the first editions of Goiânia Noise Festival. After a few lineup changes, the Bendis of 2005 established itself as a quintet. Bassist Ricardo, the only remaining member of the original, is also the composer. Your head out sick lyrics that speak of love, drugs, pessimism, suicidal thoughts and bad. Luke and John "PX" Pinaud esmerilham the guitars, while Maurice beats the battery. At the microphone, Bruno "GI Joe" replaces the time the former lead singer Andre (who recorded the first Eps The Time is Unforgettable and Panic Disorder). The plans for this year and goals are simple: make good shows and releasing their first full CD, with 13 new songs and two remakes. The sound is more punkrockn'roll, more distorted and no traces of ska. On stage, the energy flows from one end to another, making a current electrified the audience, which responds by breaking the bones in the wheel pogo. Right before completing a decade of activities, Bendis gets to the point of maturation and boot to boil.
