Formed in Campina Grande,
Paraíba - 2008. The band Ataque Violento was formed in the end of
2007/beginning 2008, in Campina Grande (PB), the proposal to implement an
aggressive sound, based on influences ranging from the speed and thrash metal,
old school, singing in Portuguese, with a lyrical context that ranges from
social realities, the total disgust and displeasure at cultural manipulation
exerted by religion and enforced by their main way controller, capitalism, the
instinct for violence stemming from human nature in its essence, and by

in one form or another, trying to aggregate into the middle against cultural
context in an attempt to preach a philosophy hammered, full of idealism
dogmatized, utopian and alienating. Earlier in the year 2009, after a few shows
between the cities of Campina Grande and Joao Pessoa, held in the second half
of last year, the band begins the recording process of what would be their
debut material, under the name "Welcome to the Real World." Amid this
process, we faced some problems due to a number of factors, with the main one,
the financial issue, which resulted in delayed release of this record. In the
course of many complications, finally release their demo in the second half of
this year, under a completely independent production, with five songs
themselves. In what follows the release of this brief account, the group
performs a few concerts in the northeast between the cities of Campina Grande
and Natal, and at the beginning of 2010 in an attempt to complement and
increase his proposal, the idea of consolidating
input a second guitar, bringing, Felipe Rodriguez, who is now an integral part
of this new formation. Based on this, now a quartet following the departure of
vocalist with Carlos Alberto and taking as a substitute until then bassist
Jairo Tellys, currently the Violent Attack is rehearsing for future shows and
spreading their "Promo 2010", featuring two new sounds which will be
part of the first EP and the band's second record (still with undefined name).
