AS DRAMATIC HOMAGE

Formed in Americana, São Paulo - 2000. The first As Dramatic Homage musicians joined forces together in 1999 with the intention of playing songs with heavy and dense characteristics and searching some versatility and atmospheres in their compositions. The name of the group carries a meaning to dramatically homage elementary themes, anti-religious, antagonistic thoughts and what concern to human being behavior himself as well as believes and attitudes. The band As Dramatic Homage recorded its first independent demo cd entitled "A Deep Inner Recital" in 2001 with good graphic quality and musical production obtaining satisfactory commendations in the underground media like radios stations, magazines and zines. There were unavoidable changes in As Dramatic Homage line-up along its existence which were reflected in 2005 with a new independent demo cd entitled "Atmosphere of Pain / Anthems of Hate". That cd exalts a heavier, stronger and more atmospheric sonority than the last one, breaking some kind of silence and guiding the band through an endless road where its musicians are free to explore new paths. In the year 2008 the band As Dramatic Homage recorded an exclusive track called "Ominous Force for Ascension" to join the Extreme Brazilian Alliance collection. Keeping in journey, makes available in year 2010 a web single of the same name along to another theme called "The Age of Transition", these songs show the rise of a new age in its musicality, where freedom and the essence Atmospheric are together in many contemporaneous genres. Allied to the lyrical concepts existential and elementaries, making the true manifestations of weight under the influence of vanguard. For under the force which guide us and makes us omnipotent.
