Formed in São Paulo, São Paulo - 1982. The band Armageddon began in 1982 with the name "Last Chance", qunado Javier (vocals), Zero (bass), Barriga (guitar) and Richard (drums) started rehearsing. Although the name was different, the main proposal of the group was already set. A view of poverty, death, injustice, death and despair were always the main theme in the letters. Like almost all hardcore punk bands of the '80s, the members learned to play during rehearsals. In 1983, they changed the name to Rad Left, but the group decided to change again after a time for a new name, reflecting the purpose of the band. This change happened when Zero (bass) left the group and a new member joined the band - Eduardo - the new bassist. The new name was Armageddon, a biblical word of the battle of the end times, something very close to the feeling that the band has always tried to pass. With the new formation Javier (vocals), Barriga (guitar), Eduardo (bass and Ricardo (drums), we finally managed to buy the instruments and find a place to rehearse (Garage Javier's house). Before this, constumavamos rehearse in the studio of Cholera band. After finding a place to rehearse and compose new songs, Armageddon began to evolve rapidly and in late 1984, we recorded a tape with 14 songs in the studio Eldorado. Two songs on this recording were used in the compilation Ataque Sonoro. The songs were Ravenous and Super Projects. After a few gigs, Armageddon could finally record an album called Funeral Silence, recorded in the studio in 1986 and vice versa, released by Rainbow Records. Shortly thereafter, Javier began to play guitar, Barriga moved to bass and Edward became the voice of the band. In 1987, the band stopped in late 1988 and returned without the belly, now with Bob on bass. The band started rehearsing again and in mid-1989, we recorded a demo tape with five new songs, which were used in a split CD and LP with Força Macabra - Tomb vacancy to the next who will die by default. During this period Armageddon played a few places in São Paulo, and in 1992 recorded a video of a live gig at the Retro space with new music. In 1993, Richard left the band after and try to found a new drummer, the band stopped again in 1994. In 1998, Javier was contacted by Force Falcon, a band from finland and initiated a project to release a split CD and LP and in the middle of 1999 the band returned once more with the vocals Eduardo Javier on guitar, Richard on drums and a new component, Claudinei on bass. Since then we are playing in various places in Brazil and recorded a new CD - From Ashes to Hell. In 2005 the Armageodm held its first tour in Europe through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Holland. In 2008 held its second European tour including Finland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. Also in 2008 we launched the Hopeless album on CD and LP. In 2009 Edward decided to leave the band, the singer is now the Thrash. In 2010 the band is preparing new songs already Thrash vocals, guitar Javier, Claudinei on bass and Richard on drums.
