Formed in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul - 1999. The Arena Age emerged in the city of Canoas Rio Grande do Sul in April 1999 and already recorded in January 2000 in Porto Alegre Acito Studios his first album titled "From The Ashes ..." which was launched in April this year. In these two years were almost Város concerts in various cities of the RS, where we highlight the shows to launch in Gully's Bar, with Teardown, Theater of Elis with Deimos Dream, Monastery (Caxias do Sul) with Noisekiller Bar with Dante and Distraught. The band also showed up at the festival Calourada, Unisinos being the only band in the style to play at the festival. During this time the CD had published his review in various magazines and e-zines, receiving rave reviews from critics. Right now the band is to first press a thousand copies sold out (400 CD's were sold even before the band hit the studio) and is already working on new compositions. In November 2001, on grounds of duplicity, the band leaves the old name "Arena" which followed the band from recording the CD. The patir this fact the band is now called the Arena Age, a name that better represents the attitude and concept of the band, now and forever. "- The problem we had with the name - says Julian - motivated us even more to work in pursuit of our own identity which is directly reflected in the composition of our new CD. Our biggest concern has always been for originality in everything we do. Our work is always tied to a concept and idea as a whole. The Arena Age, as everyone will be able to prove it is original and unique. "The band is formed by Arena Age Everton Acosta on guitar, Julian Santana on drums, Vinicius Dal'Pozzo on bass and Josh Santana on vocals.
