Formed in Salvador, Bahia - 2001. The musicians, and Gabriel Chastinet Leomar Correia had a common goal: to form a new band with an innovative musical approach. Acheron is a Doom Metal band formed in mid 2002, and "Solitude"is his first studio work. First line-up: Stanley (Drums), Leomar (Guitar), Clecio (bass), Gabriel (Guitar), Julio Cesar (voice), Willian (keyboard), Liu (voice). With the departure of Wilson and Liu, The Acheron was attended by a good time for Daniel on vocals, soon after came the arrival of one of the best keyboardists of Salvador, Joao Ribeiro. Second line-up: Stanley (Drums), Leomar (Guitar), Clecio (bass), Gabriel (Guitar), Julio Cesar (voice), John Ribeiro (keyboards), Daniela (Vocals). In February 2007, Daniela po personal reasons left the band, giving way to younger singer, Ana Paula. Current members: Stanley (Drums), Leomar (Guitar), Clecio (bass), Gabriel (Guitar), Julio Cesar (voice), John Ribeiro (keyboards), Ana Paula (voice). What we have today is the result of a long work and inspiration where the band performs an excellent Doom Metal, very well arranged and produced. With a symbiosis between the female vocals of Ana Paula and guttural vocals of "Julius Caesar".
