Formed in Patos, Paraíba – 2005. Angel of Metal is the first and only Heavy Metal band from the city of Patos-PB, formed in December 2004 and his first training with members Saul Jr., Diogo Lima, Gleidson Marino Raniery "Baker" and Joseph Edney. Initially, these four members (Diogo, Gleidson, and Edney Raniery) were part of a pop rock band called Virus, while Saul Jr., was part of another band of the same name style Mutation. In October 2004 Saul Jr. Mutation and decides to leave the following alone playing a style that so far nobody had tried to play, because it is something more complex or even passion for style, Heavy Metal. The members of the virus are interested in the idea of Saul and decide to join him then forming the Angel of Metal, the first training Saul Jr. and Diego - Guitars, Gleidson - Bass, Raniery - Drums and Edney - Vocal. The first band performed on January 6, 2005 contained only one song in their repertoire (Fear Of The Dark - Iron Maiden). In March 2005, Edney decided to leave the band for their own reasons leading to Henry Gill. From there, the Angel of Metal has its first event scheduled for the month of April 2005. Another change occurred in June 2005, guitarist Diogo Lima moved to João Pessoa, leaving the band without one of its members. In November of that year, assuming the post of new guitarist Angel of Metal, Nobrega Anderson (Max Payne), thus providing the band's current lineup. With a repertoire ranging from 50 to 60 minutes, covering songs from traditional Heavy Metal Ex: Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Metallica. And his own compositions, the band has remained in that line today.
