Formed in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul – 1999. Formed in May 1999, the band Aedes aegypti, is composed of three members: Bruno (Na Gaya) - drums, Emanuel - bass, Dominic (Calango) - guitar. After a brief transition period, a new bassist was incorporated into the band, replacing the old, enter: Fabio (Nosferatu). With new lyrics and selecting the best national couvers, Aedes aegypti growing underground scene in the capital, Campo Grande - MS, deserves a great comment in the Bullet (produced by Journalism course), Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul Touching bars, parties, mansions and cultural events as the "Communication Week" on UFMS and the "Intercom" on UNIDERP (University for the development of the Pantanal region), Aedes aegypti, the band manages to combine fun, nationalism and information, pleasant and poetic in his lyrics, as in POP - NR, Message to Politicians, MPs in Bikini, Brazilian Consumerism, Nostalgia, Vote Null, Paraíba, among others, considered Hits by the general public. Recently been recorded the first CD with eleven original songs, entitled: "Aedes aegypti campograndensys. And soon a new album should be recorded with new songs and more of the best cd before.
