Formed around 1992 in Juiz de Fora - Minas Gerais, with the proposal for a heavy sound and worked. Initially it was called Brainstorm, having problems since this name was (Is. ..) used by many bands in Brazil, which led them to change to Abstract. The Abstract also went through some training without much importance, to stand up with Leo Schröder (Guitar and Vocals), Henry Megiolaro (bass) and Julio Megiolaro (drums). The band has participated in two compilations. The first was the CD "City Alternative " (project sponsored by the private sector) with bands of Juiz de Fora and region. The second, "Sounds From The Underground", was the American record Rodell Records Inc. All because Schröder saw an ad in a magazine and sent a CD. Soon after came the answer. The first demo CD was recorded in 1999. In 2000 he recorded the first official album on an independent label, which embraced the idea of the band, Ethereal Records.
