ABISSAL

Formed in São Francisco do Sul, Santa Catarina – 1999. Formed in the late 90 by Obaid Jr., the band was driving his musicianship to the black metal. Some years later, passing through several formations, the band has been adding more and more other styles sound like Doom, grind core, Viking, Egyptian, Folk, Baroque, Classical and Classical. In mid-1999 the band finally releases their first demo entitled "end." The disk was loaded with heavy riff's sound and remembers well the traditional black metal. After recording the first album, the band broke up and fell asleep for like 4 years. And in March 2003 the founder of the band decided to redo it with other members, and this resulted in a new lineup and a new chapter to the Abyss.

New beginnings, new ideas and in 2005 another album was released the band, this time titled "Tetricus" and eight tracks were recorded only four of which were launched with the following names: Island of Shadows, imagination, the incredible power of the mind, castle of illusion, symphony of the sea, the dark warriors, dark toasting and watchful eyes of the ocean. After recording Tetricus one of the guitarists left the band remains "Sagle", the mentor of great works from the second lineup. That brought a big problem because, unless with a guitar in the band, it sounds a little calmer at what happened in 2007 the masterpiece called: "The abortion of the damned." The songs became more melancholy but with a touch darker music classical and classical. The songs were: abortion of the damned, a stranger in my garden, gods and statues, navigating the path of revenge and celebrate. In the following year guitarist "Sagle", she starts having dark thoughts and these would be well used for the next album that would "end of life", this time, full of hatred and contempt for humanity. His critical sense about life became increasingly acidic, and their increasingly bizarre compositions. The songs on this album are the following: fetus soup, masturbation corpse, make the prophecy, the curse of the carcass, body without soul. All recorded in 2008.

After recording the album the band started going through crises and disagreements that resulted in the departure of vocalist: Ertsazed. After a few weeks the band begins this time with another singer was now a "brat" on vocals enter, and then the entrance of another guitarist "Aniacoc", which allowed the other guitarist in the band existing volatilize further their songs. This time the band was the following training: Obaid Jr (drums), Aracach. D (Low), Sagle (guitar and keyboards), Aniacoc (Guitar), Lam Rehcsnip od (vocals) with special guest vocalist Yeoj. And at the end of 2009, another album was recorded but not finished working on the cover, not being released at this time. After some time, once again the Abyss came in handy with the output of od Rehcsnip Aniacoc and Lam, which crippled the band for a long time, also the guitarist Sagle vacation in England caused the band to stay a little longer stagnant. Currently Sagle, Jr Obaid, Aracach. Yeoj D and are considering a possible return for release of new work.
